Engineered, not assembled
Every link on our backbone is built by our own engineers: Juniper MX routers and EX switches, DWDM wavelengths between sites, LACP-aggregated uplinks, and yes, properly labelled fibre. The photo is one of ours.
That attention to detail, plus a high-speed MPLS network and a 24/7 NOC, is why we can offer a 99.9% uptime SLA and actually mean it.
Owned, not rented
A high-capacity BGP network we own and run ourselves, from AS212396 to every Juniper MX router, so changes happen on our own timeline.
DWDM backbone
Sites are joined by dedicated DWDM wavelengths rather than GRE tunnels, with a 10Gb/s minimum between sites and diverse fibre paths.
Juniper at the core
Carrier-grade Juniper MX routers and EX switches at every site, with LACP aggregation and a high-speed MPLS core for pseudowires and L2VPNs.
Always-on DDoS protection
The GTT Corero SmartWall platform filters attacks in under a second, always on, with no redirect delay and global scrubbing capacity.
Tier 1 transit & rich peering
Redundant 10Gb/s+ uplinks to Tier 1 providers NTT and GTT, plus direct peering with Sky Broadband, Cloudflare, Zen Internet and Hurricane Electric.
24/7 NOC monitoring
Our Network Operations Centre watches the backbone around the clock, with managed firewalls, private VLANs and cross-site L2VPN links.
